According to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, the Ukraine war has strained relations between Russia and the United States.
“A note of complaint was sent over to the American ambassador yesterday, indicating that what was happening has put relations on the point of breaking down,” Ryabkov added.
According to the Interfax news agency, he said this in Moscow on Tuesday.

According to Ryabkov, the US needed to stop sending weapons to Ukraine and adjust its tone in order to keep discussions between Moscow and Washington going.
He remarked, “They must cease issuing threats against Russia.”
In response to U.S. President Joe Biden’s criticism of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, the Russian Foreign Ministry had handed a note of protest to U.S. Ambassador to Moscow John Sullivan on Monday.
Biden had called Putin a war criminal, a murderous dictator and a thug.
