Peter Obi, the Peoples Democratic Party’s Vice Presidential candidate in the 2019 general elections, has expressed his ambition to run for President in 2023.
At the Anambra State Government conference hall in Agu-Awka, Anambra State, the former Governor of Anambra State stated his presidential ambition in front of traditional rulers in the state.
Obi is working to secure the PDP’s presidential nomination and run for president in 2023.

This comes only one day after Obi attended the formal announcement of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s desire to run for President in 2023.
While explaining why he was attending the event, Obi stated that his aspirations would not prevent him from attending the event.
He described Atiku as his leader, adding that he would still attend other events if he is invited.
