President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed delight at the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) growing membership, claiming that the party now has 41 million members.
Buhari stated the APC is now Nigeria’s largest political party, speaking at the party’s national convention in Abuja yesterday.
He stated that the APC’s numerical superiority puts it in a position to win elections fairly.

“I am impressed to discover that the Caretaker Committee’s membership registration and revalidation effort has registered over 41 million members,” Buhari said.
“This has demonstrated that we are Nigeria’s most powerful and influential political party.”
”It also exhibits our numerical strength and the potential to win elections at all given times fairly and squarely.”
