According to the Daily Mail, Jada Pinkett Smith has finally spoken out after her husband, Will Smith, punched comedian Chris Rock on stage at the Oscars over a joke about her bald head.
“This is a season for healing, and I’m here for it,” the actress said on Instagram two days after the event that shocked millions.
Pinkett, 50, used a pink backdrop for the phrases but did not include a caption.
She has been deafeningly silent since the tragic events of Sunday night.
Her message appears to be in response to the event, and it comes less than a day after her husband apologized for hitting Rock.
Pinkett suffers from alopecia but that didn’t stop Rock from joking about her bald head. This angered Will Smith who slapped Rock for disrespecting his wife.
