Oby Ezekwesili, a former Minister of Education, has claimed that the bombing of the Kaduna-bound train was caused by people in power in Nigeria.
On Monday night, gunmen detonated a bomb on the Abuja-Kaduna train between Katari and Rigina.
Several people were killed in the incident, while others are still missing.

According to reports, several of the victims, including Zamfara State’s former Deputy Governor, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Liman, were abducted before the fatal attack.
Ezekwesili responded to the event on Twitter, saying that Nigeria’s political elite has no regard for the lives of its citizenry.
“Nigeria has a super callous political class that: places zero value on the lives of their citizens, and have succeeded in making even the long-suffering citizens soulless to the point of placing zero value on the lives of their fellow citizens.”
