2023: Atiku Submits PDP Nomination, Expression Of Interest Forms (Photo)

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President, has filed his Presidential Nomination and Expression of Interest papers to the Peoples Democratic Party’s national secretariat (PDP).

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the papers were submitted on behalf of the former Vice President by Raymond Dokpesi, Chairman of TEECOM and member of the PDP BOT.

The Waziri of Adamawa stated in a statement released by the Atiku Media Office that he has irreversibly committed himself to the enthronement of One People, One Future, One Country as a purposeful strategy to restore Nigeria and its crumbling economy.

Before the submission of the forms to the National Organising Secretary of the PDP, Umar Bature, Atiku had earlier in the day notified other contenders in the race of his intention to submit his forms in line with the on-going conversations about having a consensus candidate for the party.

It will be recalled that the North East Business Community had obtained and delivered the forms to the former Vice President barely 24 hours after the PDP opened the window for the purchase of forms to aspirants in the party.

On the 23rd of March, he formally declared his intent to run for president in the 2023 election under the platform of the PDP.
