Wizkid, a Nigerian superstar, has broken his silence following his loss of two Grammy nominations.

Remember that Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ lost to Angelique Kidjo’s ‘Mother Nature’ in the category of Best Global Music Album.

His hit song ‘Essence’ was also overlooked for Best Global Music Performance.

Wizkid Spotted With A Gun A Day After Losing Grammy (Photo)

Some Nigerians have expressed their dissatisfaction with the recording academy’s failure to recognize Essence.

Wizkid, on the other hand, congratulated Angelique Kidjo on her triumph via his Instagram page.

He wrote: “Love to my brother, a true King @realblackcoffee and Queen @angeliquekidio for the wins and for consistently shining light to the continent.

“African music rising.”
