Her spouse, Opeyemi Falegan, referred to Nkechi as a lesbian while announcing their split, saying he couldn’t be a husband to one.
“Did you guys see your husband?” Whose husband is this? He stated, “I can’t be a lesbian’s husband.”

Nkechi reacted by going on Instagram live stream and confirming that she is a lesbian.
“I’m going to come out with a full chest.” I identify as a lesbian. So, what happened now? Isn’t it supposed to prove you’re not s3xually competent? she stated
“Because I’m a lesbian, should my life come to an end now?” Should life come to an end as a result?
“You say I am a lesbian, yes with my full chest, I am a freaking lesbian if that’s what you want to hear,” she stated.
