Two Ukrainian combat helicopters were shot down by the Russian military.

According to NAN, Russia’s Defense Ministry spokesperson, Igor Konashenkov, verified this.

On Thursday, Russian soldiers shot on 81 military sites, according to Konashenkov, as Moscow ramped up its strikes on Ukraine.

The military said on Thursday that 29 items had been targeted the day before.

Along with the Mi-8 and Mi-24 combat helicopters, Ukrainian military command posts and bases, as well as heavy artillery and rocket launchers in the Donbas, were among the targets attacked on Thursday, according to Konashenkov.

He further claimed that Russia’s Black Sea Fleet had destroyed a “foreign mercenary” training camp in Odesa.
