Nigeria may be adequately addressed if a daring person is elected President, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike reveals.
The governor made the remarks while speaking to delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Maiduguri on Monday.
He said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had failed to address insecurity and economic issues.
Citizens, according to Wike, are afraid of being abducted or killed if they go to their farm or other areas.

“Nigeria is on the verge of extinction, and we must not allow it to happen. This country must be rescued.
“I believe Nigeria has a future. As a result, I want to run for President of the United States as a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
“We were only hearing of insecurity in Borno, but now it is all over. Hunger doesn’t know Muslims or Christians; insecurity does not know North or South.
“We need somebody who have the courage to fight insecurity in this country and I want to tell you that I have that courage,” he said.
PDP Chairman in the State, Zanna Gaddama hailed Wike for challenging the ruling APC on matters that affect the people across Nigeria.
Gaddama urged party faithful to support the governor to get the PDP presidential ticket.
