Amaju Pinnick, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation, has finally revealed why he prefers a foreign coach to lead the Super Eagles.
Pinnick made it plain when replying to queries while being monitored by Anaedoonline.ng on Arise TV.
“I don’t insult our indigenous coaches,” he remarked. Those who played for the national teams, in particular, have paid their dues.

“There are some things I notice that you wouldn’t normally see.” There are several things in my job that you may not be aware of. The reason I recommend a foreign coach is because they bring a new attitude to the table.
It is not that I do not believe in our coaches but they need to develop that mindset. We have coaches that are quite competent but the question is: Are they good enough for us for now?
Remember that just yesterday, Pinnick got a new role in FIFA.
