Anyim Pius Anyim, the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, has stated that if elected President in 2023, his government will emphasize restoring the nation’s economy.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Anyim is running for Nigeria’s top political position in the next election on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform.

Anyim told former members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) on Friday that if given the chance, he would return the nation to where it was under former President Goodluck Jonathan’s leadership.

According to Anyim, Nigeria’s economy was restructured under Jonathan and became Africa’s largest.

If elected, the Presidential candidate stated that he intends to continue the 2015 trip “since we have a methodical plan to refocus the economy.” Put the country on the path to prosperity and peace.”

Anyim identified himself as a crisis manager who knows how to deal with the country’s current circumstances.

“You have no excuse not to support me,” he said, if Nigerians are concerned about the current condition in the country and are urging the current administration to restore them to 2015. I inherited a troubled Senate, but I was able to bring it back to life.”

Anyim said further: “If you remember then our economy was rebased, Nigeria economy became the largest in Africa. Today where are we? ?here were policies we put in place to encourage foreign investors, but these are things we don’t do overnight, you have to be systematic. If you support me we can return this country to the path of peace, progress and prosperity.

“The mistake that we must not make is the mistake that was made in 2015. In 2015, some of us in PDP simply decided to pull out of the trial and we were plunged into darkness that is why we are here today. We have to rescue this country.”
