Chrisland School: Police Probes Video, May Involve Interpol

The Lagos State Police Command has responded to the purported rape video involving kids from Lagos’ Chrisland School.

The tape depicts the students performing a sexual act while under the influence, according to the mother of the female student.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the Police Public Relations Officer, stated on Monday that inquiries into the situation had begun.

According to the spokesman, the security service is attempting to determine “the identity of the players in the video.”

“The event in the video, the geographical location of the occurrence, and the claimed danger to life against a student” are also to be specified.

Others include circumstances surrounding the alleged repeated pregnancy tests conducted on a student without parental consent.

The police are taking cognizance of “the cybercrime angle” and would enlist the support of Interpol (International Police) if the need arises.

The Lagos Command confirmed it would work with relevant ministries, departments, agencies and non-governmental organizations.

Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi assured that due diligence will be observed to ensure there is no miscarriage of justice.
