Today, Monday, April 18th, 2022, President and CEO of komworld Cinema and founder and former CEO of Filmhouse Cinema, Kene Mkparu made a surprise visit to Nnewi Digital Village, housing Southeast’s most-read news blog Anaedoonline.
Mr. Mkparu visited in the company of London Based Actress and special effects makeup artist, Cleopatra Starrets, and made a tour of the facilities such as the Anaedoonline office, AnaedoTV Studio, Digihub Incubation Center.
Speaking to AnaedoTV, Cleopatra Starrets expressed happiness in the state of development of the creative industry in the southeast and indicated interest to support and partnering with the industry to bring it to Global recognition.

In his speech after touring the various facilities at the Digital Village, Kene Mkparu appreciated the founder of Nnewi Digital Village, Cornel Osigwe on his contribution to the growth of media and entertainment in the east and encouraged him to be steadfast and not give up no matter the challenges he may be facing
Nnewi Digital Village was established to provide the skill gap in the digital industry in Southeast Nigeria. One of its facilities, Digihub Incubation Center provides workplaces for startups, and digital ecosystems, as well as incubation hubs for training and grooming on digital skills.
