Another jet of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has crashed. It’s possible that two pilots have died.
On Tuesday night, a reliable source told Newsmen that the event happened “a few hours ago.”
“An Air Force jet has crashed, killing two pilots.” According to the insider, the jet was travelling from Kaduna to Abuja.
It’s unclear if the incident was caused by bandits/terrorists or by a technical malfunction.

Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, NAF Director of Public Relations, did not return phone calls seeking comment.
When I contacted the spokesman’s number again before press time, it was disconnected.
On July 18 2021, Anaedoonline.ng first reported that a NAF fighter plane went down while on a mission in the North-West.
After initial denial, the military confirmed the mishap in a statement the next day.
NAF explained that Alpha aircraft was returning an air interdiction between the boundaries of Zamfara and Kaduna States.
Bandits opened fire which led to its crash in Zamfara. The pilot, Flight Lieutenant Abayomi Dairo survived.
