Chiemerie, Osinachi Nwachukwu’s brother, has revealed why the late gospel singer refused to divorce her husband, Peter Nwachukwu.
Chiemerie said the Ekwueme singer opted to stay in the abusive marriage due to how her followers would perceive her.
He claimed she was attempting to avoid being labeled as a divorced pastor.
Nwachukwu, according to Chiemerie, is slowly murdering the singer.

“I know Osinachi very well,” Chiemerie stated to reporters. She is a calm, God-fearing woman. She was going through all of this and refusing to tell me because she knew I would know what to do.
“She was just hiding all these things so people will not talk about her and say she is divorced. So, the man was dealing with her and she was dying slowly.”
He had reported a case of culpable homicide to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police against Nwachukwu, which led to his arrest on April 10.
The gospel singer gave up the ghost on April 8 at the National Hospital in Abuja, where she was being treated for alleged throat cancer.
However, there are claims that Osinachi died as a result of lingering domestic violence she suffered from her husband.
