Former President Goodluck Jonathan responded on Friday to suggestions that he run for President in 2023.

According to the report, Jonathan stated he couldn’t say whether he will run for president in 2023.

He revealed this while speaking to fans who surrounded his Abuja office, urging him to run for President in 2023.

“I can’t tell whether I’m contesting,” Jonathan was reported as saying.

Hundreds of supporters invaded his office, including women and youth organizations, urging him to run for President in 2023.

Around 8:50 a.m., supporters came at the office with a musical band.

They lamented that hunger, insecurity, and unemployment, among others, had become the order of the day since he left office.

The supporters said that both men and women had turned to beggars because of the unfavourable policies of the present administration.
