Senator Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has suspended all departmental directors at the party’s Abuja headquarters indefinitely.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the APC chairman sent a letter last week Friday ordering the directors to be placed on indefinite suspension.

Remember that upon taking office on April 1, the former Nasarawa governor hinted about the prospect of reorganizing the national secretariat.

Adamu began remodeling the party secretariat shortly after taking office, transferring his office from the third to the ground floor.

In addition, the former Nasarawa governor hinted at the potential of questioning certain party secretariat officials, particularly its directors.

He stated that the party could no longer operate in the same manner as before, and that his government would have zero tolerance for failure.

According to reports, Adamu promptly formed a transition committee led by Ali Saad Birnin Kudu, a former governor of Jigawa State, to investigate the Caretaker Committee’s handover memo and other issues impacting the party’s national office.

According to the news outlet, the APC chairman decided on Friday to suspend eight directors based on the committee’s findings.
