Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has ordered the Rivers State Police Command to track down and arrest Farah Dagogo, a member of the House of Representatives and gubernatorial contender.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, this comes after the Rivers governor proclaimed Dagogo, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial hopeful, wanted.

Wike accused the federal legislator of infiltrating the PDP secretariat in Port Harcourt with cultists in order to sabotage the vetting of candidates for different elective offices.

“Already, some the hoodlums hired by Farah Dagogo have been arrested and will be made to face the full wrath of the law.”

But a source told Newsmen that Dagogo knew nothing about the incident at the PDP secretariat.

The source stated that a group of aspirants vying for the House of Assembly and National Assembly tickets protested the refusal of the PDP Committee to screen.

He said: “While they were addressing journalists at the PDP secretariat, policemen arrived the scene and started shooting into the air.

“They arrested some of the aspirants and took them away. Dagogo was not there. Why will they declare him wanted?”
