After at least N43,000,000 went missing from the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) National Secretariat on Wednesday, there was some doubt.

According to our source, the canopy beneath which the form sales took place was unexpectedly dismantled without explanation.

The party resorted to canopies due to ongoing renovation/refurbishment work at the Secretariat main building.

During the crowded scuffle at the party’s main entrance, $75,000 was believed to have gone missing.

The stolen monies are unconnected to cash received through the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms, according to party officials, because candidates must deposit funds in authorized account numbers before picking up their forms at Buhari House.

“It’s actually $75,000,” says the narrator. When hopefuls and supporters tried to get in, you know there was a fight at the entrance.

“When the money bundle was dumped, it vanished in an instant. The robber had disappeared with the envelope by the time security operatives were alerted, according to the party source.

Previously, the Secretariat was a hive of activity, with candidates rushing in to get paperwork for various election positions.

Hundreds of supporters gathered outside Buhari House to cheer on their favorite candidates as they made their way inside.
