The announcement that Yul Edochie has married a second time has generated questions about his competence to lead Nigeria.

On Wednesday, the Nollywood actor astonished fans when he revealed the existence of his son with his second wife, Judy Austin Muoghalu.

He wrote: “It’s time for the world to meet my son. His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE.

The senior wife of Edochie, who has five children for him, took to the comment section writing: “May God judge you both.”

This has sparked outrage online, as Edochie had previously praised his first wife for staying by him for 16 years when he was going through a difficult time.

This announcement, however, did not sit well with many Nigerians, who deemed him unqualified to be president and in charge of the country’s affairs.

On his 40th birthday in January, Edochie expressed his desire to become Nigeria’s next president.

@Uramah “Yul Edochie has failed us all (Nigerians). How can we vote for someone that is not faithful in marriage? A man that can’t stick to one woman is not fit to become Nigeria’s president. He should go and rest and also fit in his home.”
