Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has replied to demands for Goodluck Jonathan to run for president in 2023 through his lawyer Aloy Ejimakor.
If the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, does not disqualify Jonathan from the presidential election, according to Ejimakor, the court will.
Jonathan could not run for president, according to the lawyer, because he already held the job.

Ejimakor emphasized in a tweet that it is impossible for Goodluck to replace Buhari, citing Section 137(3) of the Nigerian Constitution.
He wrote: “2023: If INEC does not disqualify @GEJonathan, the Courts will, because Section 137(3) of the Constitution says that ‘A person who was sworn-in to complete the term for which another person was elected as President, shall not be elected to such office for more than a single term.”
