“I’d like to personally welcome you to Comrade Adams Oshiomhole’s official announcement that he would run for President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the 2023 general election on the APC platform.”
The proclamation will take place today (Friday, April 29th, 2022) at the Cyprian Ekwensi Center for Arts and Culture in Area 10 Abuja, as announced.
By 3 p.m., the former Governor of Edo State will make his formal statement.
Iyamoh stated his desire to run for a seat in the Senate during Oshiomhole’s 70th birthday celebration at his country residence a few weeks ago.
In 2023, Oshiomhole stated that he will run for the Edo North Senatorial seat on the APC platform.
