Reno Omokri, a former presidential assistant to Goodluck Jonathan, has speculated on why Northerners will listen to President Muhammadu Buhari and vote for APC leader Bola Tinubu in the impending 2023 election.
According to the political activist, Buhari has 12 million supporters who are willing to vote for Tinubu in the presidential election if he commands it.
In a tweet, Omokri recommended the PDP to nominate a Northern presidential candidate in order for the party to have a chance of regaining power.

He wrote: “Buhari has always had a captive audience of 12 million Northerners.
“If PDP fields a Southerner in 2023, his 12 million captive audience will obey Buhari’s command to vote for Tinubu. And he will win. The only way they won’t obey him is if the PDP fields a Northerner!”
Anaedoonline.ng report that the president is yet to declare his support for any presidential aspirant.
