Following the choice of Senate President Ahmad Lawan and Governor of Ekiti State Kayode Fayemi to run for president in 2023, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is expected to earn 2 billion Naira.

With the governing party’s presidential primaries approaching, just six hopefuls have chosen the party’s form, which costs 100 million Naira, as of the time of reporting this story.

Bola Tinubu, the party’s National Leader, is among the candidates, as is Yahaya Bello, the Governor of Kogi State; Dave Umahi, the Governor of Ebonyi State; and Emeka Nwajiuba, the Minister of State for Education.

Uju Kennedy, a female aspirant in the party, has also selected her forms after paying N30 million.

If the party does not change its mind, the form sales will end on May 6th.

All aspirants who have expressed interest in running for president in 2023 are expected to earn the ruling party two billion Naira.

Godswill Akpabio, the Minister of the Niger Delta, is anticipated to publicly proclaim his desire today, as well as pick up the party’s registration form.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, former Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, and others are yet to fill out the forms.
