Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), is said to have accepted the governing All Progressives Congress’ presidential nomination and expression of interest form (APC).
On Friday, Emefiele was said to have picked up the N100 million forms from the party’s organising secretary at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.

Newsmen reported that Emefiele’s spokeswoman did not respond to a request for comment, and the CBN governor himself declined to comment.
Emefiele’s purchase of the APC presidential nomination form puts to rest rumors that he is planning to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
