Unknown gunmen raided the famed Ariaria International market in Aba, Abia State, prompting outrage among Nigerians on social media.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, a big number of gunmen dressed in black carried out an open parade and patrol in the market, to the delight of the dealers and purchasers.
The gunmen, estimated to number around 50, were shown in a viral video brandishing rifles and various weapons, much to the delight of many at the market.
In the South East, the gunmen have also ordered a mandatory sit-at-home for today, May 5th, and tomorrow, May 6th, 2022, ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s working visit to Ebonyi State.
