On Sunday, the Delta State Police Command, led by CP Ari Muhammed Ali, informed people that no sit-at-home order had been issued in the state.

This is according to a statement issued by DSP Bright Edafe, the Police Public Relations Officer.

CP Ari, who was reacting to a Facebook post by some faceless individuals with the caption “Unknown gunmen Asaba Delta State sends strong message,” in which Asaba residents were warned to observe the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOBsit-at-home )’s order, assured residents of their safety while urging them to go about their lawful businesses, stressing that the Command is willing and able to deal decisively with anyone or group of persons who try to cause any form of trouble in the state.
