Abdullahi Adamu, the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) National Chairman, has urged with hopefuls not to abandon the ruling party following the primary election.

He promised a level playing field to all candidates running for various positions on the party’s program.

On Sunday, the APC National Chairman made the request in Nasarawa State’s Keffi Local Government Area, where stakeholders of the ruling party in the state’s Western Senatorial Zone held a valedictory session in his honor.

Ibrahim Abdullahi, Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, represented Adamu at the occasion.

He asked candidates to accept the results of the upcoming primary elections with grace.

He said, “I want to assure everyone of you that the party will provide a level playing field for all aspirants vying for various positions during the forthcoming APC primaries.

“I also want to appeal to all aspirants to accept the results of the primary elections in good faith and not to leave the party.

“I assure you all that there would be a reward for every loyal party member.”
