Pastor Tunde Bakare, a presidential aspirant and the General Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church in Lagos, has described the N100 million he spent for APC presidential nomination forms as an investment.

This was mentioned by the pastor during an interview on Channels Television.

He said that the money was not squandered but rather invested in a party that needed resources to remain formidable, adding that the form was N30 million in 2014/2015 and he expected it to be higher this year.

According to him: “It is not money thrown away, it is an investment into a party that needs resources to be a formidable party; yes it is a very high price. The last time in 2014/15, it was N30million and this time around, I was expecting it to be more. This is the time we have to step in and begin to make a difference; we have to comply by paying the price.”
