Atiku Abubakar, a presidential candidate in 2023, has published another social media post expressing his position on the shooting of Deborah Samuel, a Christian female student at Sokoto State’s Shehu Shagari College of Education.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the former Vice President denounced Deborah’s stoned to death and burning by her Muslim classmates over an alleged insult to Islam’s prophet Muhammad on Thursday via his social media profiles.
“There can’t be a reason for such brutal murder,” Atiku said on his social media platforms earlier.

In a short time, the Adamawa State lawmaker returned to his Hausa Facebook page to deny authoring the message.
Atiku said that the prior viral posts on his sites were made without his permission, and that any post that does not have AA is not from him and should be ignored.

By this Atiku is saying he didn’t make the comment which condemned the gruesome and barbaric killing of Deborah by his kindred from the North.
Atiku’s new post on his Hausa Facebook page has since generated another series of backlash as some believe he is not worthy to rule the country since he cannot stand by his word.
