While speaking, Makinde expressed his confidence that the PDP will get its act together and offer a presidential candidate capable of winning the election.

He went on to say that whatever the PDP’s candidate is, the country will be saved from its economic troubles and insecurity.

Makinde went on to say that the PDP convention is an opportunity for the party to make a meaningful choice for the party and the country.

Makinde, who characterized the former governor of Kwara State as presidential potential, claimed that the least of the PDP presidential hopefuls is better than the finest the APC has to offer.
