Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has arrived in the Federal High Court in Abuja to continue his trial.
His presence was confirmed by his attorney, Aloy Ejimakor, in a tweet, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
Despite the presence of heavily armed Department of State Services (DSS) agents who have taken over security of the premises, journalists, attorneys, litigants, and staff are being let inside the court premises unchallenged, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
Apart from granting unrestricted access to attorneys and media practitioners, roads leading to the court are not blocked, and food sellers are able to do their operations without fear of harassment.
However, adequate security measures are being observed to prevent security breaches.
