The All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that all presidential candidates would be screened forever.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the screening was set on Monday, May 23.
The postponement was announced to the press on Sunday by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
According to Morka, the party will announce a new date for the screening procedure.
According to him, “The Screening Exercise for Presidential Aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier scheduled to be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, is hereby postponed.
“A new date for the exercise will be announced shortly. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
Those affected by the postponement includes: APC national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; former Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi; Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State; Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State; Senator Ajayi Boroffice; former Minister of Education State, Emeka Nwajuiba; Senator Ibikunle Amosun; Pastor Tunde Bakare and many others.
