David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has congratulated Banky W, a prominent music musician, on getting the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket to stand for the House of Representatives, Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in the 2023 elections.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Banky W scored a resounding win in the PDP state Assembly and House of Representatives primary elections on Monday, polling 28 to 3 votes.
In response, Davido vowed support for Banky W’s dream in a tweet on Tuesday morning, stating the musician and movie star had done his part.

Davido advised other Nigerian youngsters to become more involved in politics in order to bring about change in the country’s government.
He wrote, “Congrats @BankyW! You have my support! Don’t sit at home and complain, get up and make a change”.
Recall that Banky W in the 2019 election, contested the House of Representatives seat under the Modern Democratic Party (MDP), but lost to Ibrahim Obanikoro of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
