Omoyele Sowore, a presidential candidate and political activist, has insulted Peter Obi, the former Governor of Anambra, for resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the former PDP Presidential hopeful sparked a political stir on Wednesday when he declared his defection ahead of the PDP’s presidential primary poll.
Doyin Okupe, the former Anambra State Governor’s campaign director, sent his resignation letter to the PDP National Secretariat.

Obi’s withdrawal occurred when the lawmaker voiced worries of being humiliated during the convention in Abuja, according to reports.
Reacting to the development in a post via his Facebook page on Wednesday, Sowore slammed Obi for dumping a political party for the second time in his political career.
The media entrepreneur said Obi dumped the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the PDP and is likely to join Labour Party in the coming days.
“Peter Obi has dumped rogue PDP. He’s reportedly heading to join rogue Labour leaders at the Labour Party. From APGA to PDP and now possibly to LP! How many parties could a man join in his lifetime?” he queried.
