Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has won the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential primary election after receiving the most votes.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Atiku beat all other candidates by a large majority in the primary election conducted at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Saturday.
Atiku will now be the PDP’s official presidential contender in Nigeria’s 2023 presidential election.

Atiku was declared the victor of the primary election by David Mark, the Chairman of the PDP electoral committee for the primaries.

Bukola Saraki – 70 votes
Emmanuel Udom – 38 votes
Bala Mohammed – 20 votes

It will be recalled that the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal had earlier stepped down from the race and urged his supporters to vote for Atiku.
