The two major political parties in Nigeria have given tickets to the sons of the Chief Judge of the Federation, Justice Ibrahim Tanko, for the National Assembly elections in 2023.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) both offered tickets to the CJN’s two sons (PDP).

According to Anaedoonline.ng, one of his sons, Siraj Ibrahim Tanko, has been elected to the APC’s Bauchi North Senatorial seat.

Senator Adamu Bulkachuwa, the incumbent senator for the seat, was defeated by Ibrahim Tanko.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, Siraj received 189 votes to defeat Imba, his closest challenger, who received 177 votes, while Bulkachuwa received 0 votes.

Sani Ibrahim Tanko, the CJN’s other son, won the PDP primary election in the Shira Giafe Federal Constituency.

It was gathered that Sani Ibrahim Tanko was elected unopposed.
