Shehu Sani, a former congressman from Kaduna’s central senatorial district, has responded to Bola Tinubu’s allegations that President Muhammadu Buhari would not have won the presidency in 2015 if it weren’t for him.
As previously reported by Anaedoonline.ng, at a meeting with All Progressives Congress, APC, delegates in Abeokuta, Tinubu confessed that he played a key role in Buhari’s election in 2015.
He also claimed to have extended the same benefits to Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State.

Sani responded to Tinubu’s allegation on Twitter, confirming that the former governor did indeed assist President Buhari.
However, he maintained that politics does not respect history.
His words: “Actually Jagaban has played a leading role in the emergence and victory of PMB in 2015, but politics doesn’t always respect or appreciate history”.
