Two Nigerian police officers were reportedly slain by unidentified assailants in Enugu State yesterday.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the security officers were on duty at the Royal Mass Transit Workshop in Mkpamte, Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, when the terrorists struck.
According to reports, the gunmen took the policemen’ weapons before fleeing the area.

Even hours after the occurrence, no official word on the incident has been released.
The Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO of Enugu State, Daniel Ndukwe, could not respond to calls at the time the report was given.
