The All Progressives Congress (APC) will hold a special national conference to elect its presidential candidate for 2023.

Delegates have begun to arrive at the Eagle Square location of the presidential primaries in Abuja, according to Anaedoonline.ng.

While security officers are completely on the ground, several suppliers are still putting the finishing touches on their ideas ahead of the start of the entire program.

The APC presidential primaries are scheduled to draw a total of 2,322 delegates. The zone-by-zone breakdown is presented below.

South East — 285 delegates
South West — 411 delegates.
South South —372 delegates.
North West — 558 delegates.
North Central-360 delegates.
North East —336 delegates

Twenty-three (23) aspirants were screened by the John Odigie-Oyegun-led screening committee and are all expected to jostle for votes, save any last-minute horse-trading.

The list of aspirants include: Abubakar Badaru: Godswill Akpabio: Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi: Ibikunle Amosun: Yahaya Bello: Kayode Fayemi: Tein Jack -Rich: Ahmed Lawan: Chukwuemeka Uwaezuoke Uwajuiba: Ogbonnaya Onu: Yemi Osinbajo: Asiwaju Bola Tinubu: David Umahi.

Others are, Rochas Okorocha, former Imo State governor; Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River state; Tunde Bakare, General Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly and Sani Yerima, former Zamfara State Governor.

Ken Nnamani, former president of the Senate; Ikeobasi Mokelu, former Minister of Information; Demeji Bankole, former Speaker of the House of Representatives; Ajayi Borroffice, Deputy Senate Leader; Felix Nicholas, US-based pastor and Uju Ken-Ohanenye.
