Members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are now meeting behind closed doors with the party’s national leadership.
The meeting is being held inside the ruling party’s national secretariat.
In attendance were Governors of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Kaduna, Nasir El-Rufai, Kano, Umar Ganduje, Plateau, Simon Lalong, Niger, Sani Bello, Nasarawa, Abdullahi Sule, Borno, Babagana Zulum, Gombe, Mohammad Inuwa Yahaya, among others.

Around 8 p.m., the governors arrived to the party’s national office.
They went to the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) Hall to meet with members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
The gathering is not unrelated to the party’s internal battle over the selection of the party’s presidential candidate for the 2023 election.
