The House of Assembly ambition of Sir Eloka Ikeh has suffered a major setback following the rejection of his candidacy by Chief Olisa Metuh, who is a prominent member and stakeholder of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)
Sir Eloka Ikeh, who is the Anambra State House of Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nnewi North Constituency, recently emerged as the candidate of the party after he won the primary election, unopposed.
However, in a new twist, Anaedoonline.ng gathered that Chief Olisa Metuh who is the Leader of PDP in Nnewi has rejected the candidacy of Eloka Ikeh who he claims is loyal to Chief Chris Uba (Eselu Uga).
According to a reliable source, Chief Olisa Metuh through the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nnewi North, Prince Ifeamuma Nwafor-Orizu, during a PDP stakeholders meeting which held yesterday said that except in the Presidential election, the party won’t support any of the PDP candidates including the House Of Assembly candidate in Nnewi North, Sir Eloka Ikeh.
According to Prince Ifeamuma, he is speaking on the orders of Chief Olisa Metuh, who he acknowledges as the Leader of PDP in Nnewi, revealing that members of the party in the town should go and work for other parties.
Another source who was preview to the details of the meeting said that Olisa Metuh has directed members of the party to work for other parties since Chief Chris Uba (Eselu Uga) has destroyed PDP in Anambra State.

He said that the directive has also affected the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Candidate for Nnewi North State Constituency, Sir Eloka Ikeh, because he is not loyal to Chief Olisa Metuh.
