Nigerians have responded after Presidential aspirant and APC chairman Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave N75 million to the victims of the assault during a condolence visit to Ondo state over the death of Catholic parishioners.
Tinubu had left delegates, chieftains, and other members of the APC who had come in Abuja for the party’s presidential primary for Ondo State, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
The presidential candidate traveled in Owo to pay a visit to the survivors, who are being treated at an unidentified hospital.

While at the hospital, Tinubu and the state governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, contributed N50 million to help with the victims’ care, with the remaining N25 million going to the Catholic Church, vowing to address the country’s security concerns if elected.
Announcing the donation, Akeredolu said, “Our leader is donating N50 million to take care of the victims, and an additional donation of 25 million will go to the Catholic Church for the victims and every other thing.”
The action has sparked mixed reactions among Netizens who tagged the act of kindness a campaign strategy to gain the heart of the masses.
