David Adeleke, best known by his stage as Davido, has responded to the unidentified gunmen who attacked St Francis Catholic Church on Owa-luwa Street in Owo, Ondo State.
On Sunday, June 5, 2022, unknown gunmen stormed a catholic church, tossing bombs and killing numerous people, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
In a video uploaded on social media, it was revealed that no less than ten worshipers were shot or killed by the explosives.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State hails from Owo, according to reports.
Davido conveyed his grief over the terrible tragedy in a tweet sent on his Twitter profile on Sunday.
He wrote: “Jesus take control. Pray for Nigeria. RIP to all the lost souls.”
In another tweet, he wrote; “This is too much”
Meanwhile, Ondo State’s government has promised to track down terrorists who assaulted attendees at St Francis Catholic Church on Owa-Iuwa Street on Sunday.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Ondo Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, expressed regret over the unprovoked attack and slaughter of innocent persons in Owo in a statement on Sunday, characterizing the crime as demonic and “unexpected.”

The attack is a calculated assault on the peace-loving people of the Owo Kingdom, according to Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Richard Olatunde, who stated in a statement on Sunday that the attack is “a calculated assault on the peace-loving people of the Owo Kingdom who have enjoyed relative peace over the years.”
