Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senate’s Chief Whip, has congratulated Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Tinubu received more than half of the votes in the party’s convention on Wednesday, clinching the ticket.
On Wednesday, he received 1,271 votes out of 2,322 delegates at the Special Convention.

“I congratulate you on the nice and lovely outing,” Kalu stated in a statement he personally signed.
“To my friend and colleague, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who has been elected as our party’s presidential flag bearer, big congratulations to you. The APC won.
Kalu encouraged all other aspirants to accept Asiwaju’s victory in the spirit of sportsmanship.
He added that all APC members owe the party an open mind and total support.
