Abdullahi Adamu, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, wrote to Bola Tinubu, the party’s National Leader, on Wednesday evening following his victory in the party’s presidential primary.

According to Anaedoonline.ng, the former Governor of Lagos State won the election by a large margin over the nearest presidential contender.

Recall that Adamu named Senate President Ahmad Lawan as the party’s chosen candidate on Tuesday.

Members of the National Working Committee expressed their gratitude to Adamu in a letter posted on Wednesday (NWC).

According to the former legislator, he wrote Tinubu a letter on behalf of all APC members congratulating him on “the excellent win recorded.”

The APC Chairman wrote, “I am pleased that the Party spoke with one voice when the delegates voted overwhelmingly to nominate you as our presidential candidate.”

Adamu expressed hope that efforts between the national secretariat and Tinubu’s campaign team “will proceed with the shared expectations of victory at the 2023 general elections, by the grace of God”.
