Okey Bakassi, a popular Nigerian comedian, has turned to social media to advocate that the three major geopolitical zone presidential contenders, Peter Obi, Bola Tinubu, and Atiku Abubakar, be permitted to lead two geopolitical zones in each of Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones in 2023.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, the veteran comedian suggested in a post on his Facebook page on Saturday that the public get their Permanent Voter’s Card while noting that the national budget should be shared among the candidates and that each candidate’s progress in their region should be evaluated after four years.

He also stated that the general elections in 2023 are crucial, and that everyone should participate.
He wrote on his Facebook page; “I saw this post and it got me wishing….since we have six geopolitical zones: Give Atiku NE & NW, Give Tinubu SW & NC and Give Obi SE & SS… Split the National budget into 3 equal parts and allow them to head these regions for 4yrs after which we can evaluate progress and conduct a Presidential election if necessary.#realitycheck #2023isimportant #getyourpvc”
