Nigerians have expressed their displeasure with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), after a video showing him in economy class on a journey to Egypt leaked online.

The presidential contender is seen in the footage conversing with one of the passengers.

Nigerians, on the other hand, have reacted strongly to Obi’s decision to fly economy class, with some calling it a pompous gesture.

Recall that the former governor announced via a tweet on Tuesday that he was visiting Egypt for a detailed study of comparable countries to Nigeria.

Obi will be understudying the country’s Power, Education, Planning and Finance sectors during his three days visit.
