A woman with the Instagram handle Nemebriella, who was reportedly assaulted by Nigerian Grammy award-winning artist Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage name Burna Boy, has spoken out about the shooting at the Cubana club in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Burna Boy, who appeared unremorseful about the event, responded by saying he wouldn’t be shocked if Nigerians said he launched Boko Haram.

However, a woman claiming to be the one who was involved in the incident has provided her side of the story, explaining all of the events that occurred in the club.
The woman explained that she, her husband, and some of her friends had gone to the club to celebrate the wedding of a childhood friend.
Burna Boy sent one of his pals to contact her when they were having a fantastic time and laughing in the VIP section, she said, and she told him she didn’t want to talk to him.
Her friends and husband became enraged after the man came to phone her for the third time, and a brawl ensued.
According to the lady, one of her friends attempted to de-escalate the situation, but Burna Boy continued to his car while surrounded by security.

During the struggle, the lady said, her partner and a friend were shot with both needing urgent medical attention.
